We do not have one plow truck like Atlanta does, so why is there so much snow on the roads? Tuesday the snow came down. Wednesday it was more of the same, as well as some slush and rain, that is until 3:30 pm, which in my opinion would give the plow trucks more than enough time to clean up the roads for the next work day. Especially when there is supposed to be more nastiness on the way.
There was more snow on Wednesday than on Thursday, but the roads were much better on Wednesday. My friend and I were only twelve minutes late that day, where as on Thursday it was seven o’clock (when work starts) by the time we got out of Halifax.
The reason being that the plow trucks were not doing their jobs. We had to turn around twice. Twice!
When we were in Halifax we met a plow truck coming the other way and it was not even plowing. It was not like the road did not need it, they just were not plowing.
Did we use all the funds for the winter? I mean we barely received a dusting all winter and now that we have snow we do not use the plow trucks, we just have them out and about wasting our tax money? Something has got to be done! Why not plow the roads so it will be less gas used by the tax payers who have to make it to work.
