A variety of family events at Dover library

DOVER- Take a break from the winter blues and add a little spice to your family time by joining the Dover Free Library at one or all of the free programs for kids and families during the Winter Break Fun Week, February 22 to 26. Some programs may require registration.

Featured events include Bedtime Stories! on Monday, February 22, at 7 pm. Don pajamas and load up the car because the Dover Library is hosting bedtime stories for children ages 4-8 complete with milk and cookies.

Also on tap is a Board Game Tournament on Tuesday, February 23, at 6 pm. Pizza will be served at 6 pm followed by a round robin of old and new (but slightly modified) board games. Awards ceremony will follow. This program is designed for participants ages 8 to adult. Registration is required as space is limited.

There will be storytime on Wednesday, February 24, at 10:30 am. Come listen to some award-winning stories. This story hour and craft time is for children between the ages of 3 and 10. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

Family Movie Night will be Friday, February 26, at 6:30 pm. “Let the force be with you” this winter break. The Dover Library presents “Star Wars V: The Empire Strikes Back.” This PG-rated movie will be shown in the library’s Community Room on the big screen and runs 129 minutes. Door prizes and popcorn provided.
