To the Editor:

With all the comings and goings to all too many meetings at Town Hall, one cannot miss the delightful display of lights adorning the Bank Lot park.

We have Len Chapman to thank for this very festive addition to our downtown. With some direction from Mary Wright and Alice Greenspan, it took Lenny the better part of three days of standing on a ladder and fastening strands of lights to the posts and beams. Fortunately, he began his work just before Thanksgiving and avoided the very cold weather.

Thanks, Lenny, for brightening our downtown evenings and adding to the festive atmosphere of our winter season.

Ditto. Lenny's volunteerism is hugely commendable; especially since it comes from his heart... :)
