To the Editor:

I would like to extend the following thanks to everyone who participated in making the World AIDS Day Community Friendship Quilt.

Thank you to the Norton House for discounting quilt materials and helping to distribute the quilt squares. Thank you to Susan Manton Haughwout and the town office for helping to distribute and collect the squares, and for displaying the quilt.

Maybe you could stitch some quilts to put on/cover the windows of your art gallery which overlook the fabulously designed, beautiful Bank Park that you dislike so much (which oddly enough, you chose as your location---maybe because the numbers of admirers of the 'pergola' et.al., are so vast and you thought you'd get in on the paparazzi!!!)

STRANGE....
