DOVER- Mount Snow has released its event calendar for the upcoming winter season. Known for their innovation and variety, Mount Snow has something for everyone this year ranging from children’s events to professional ski and snowboard competitions.

The year begins with a focus on family, including a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus during the November 28 Torchlight Parade and Fireworks. There are two “Youth Pay Their Age Days” in December and January, and the Grommet Jam series kicks off on December 27.

February 5 to 7 brings in the feature event of the season. The Winter Dew Tour returns for the Toyota Championships, the finals of the three-stop tour. The world’s best freeski and ride athletes compete to take home a share of the $1.5 million purse and the Dew Cup.

Spring skiing isn’t the only thing March has to offer. Mount Snow’s event calendar ramps up for the Jack Jump World Championships, a huge St. Patrick’s Day bash, the Freeski Open, and the famous Reggaefest weekend.

But it doesn’t stop there. April 3 hosts the Winter Brewers Festival, along with the Glade-iator, a bump competition where only the worthy will be deemed champion by their peers.

Finishing off the mountain’s winter events is the Golden Easter Egg Hunt. Find the egg and win a 2010/2011 season pass.
