To the Editor:

I read with interest Selma Schiffer’s letter in last week’s edition of the newspaper regarding “The Destroyers of the Pergola band” etc. Every citizen should be able to have an opinion without being mocked and threatened. It is understandable why a vote in private by Australian ballot without fear of retribution or criticism is necessary.

Let freedom ring.

Freedom of speech is just that, freedom of speech. So Ms. Schiffer spoke, what are YOU so afraid of?! So yes, let freedom ring for all. Go to town meeting and listen!
