Given that Wilmington, Vermont, is in the United States of America...land of the free... we have voting rights and the democratic process.
Seems like having a decision made, that affects us all, by an Austalian ballot is our right as citizens.
People are informed about the pergola issue and feelings about the pergola have been “aired” publicly since the day it went up. We saw what happened last year at the town meeting: lots of emotions and time.
Let’s vote! It’s fair, and is it just a coincidence, or are all the pergola naysayers the ones against the Australian ballot?
