Mr. Brian Donelson, author of “The Coming of the Train,” spoke to an overflow crowd at the Whitingham Municipal Center, showing slides and providing information on his book.
The author answered questions and signed copies of his book following the presentation. Few topics have generated as much interest in the Deerfield Valley as Mr. Donelson’s book, as evidenced by the many questions following the presentation.
Mr. Donelson is presently working on a second volume of his book.
The program was sponsored by the Whitingham Historical Society. Copies of the book are available at the historical museum, which is open from 2 to 4 pm, every Sunday through September.
