The seven-concert series continues every other Sunday through August 23. All concerts begin at 5:30 pm in downtown Putney on the Putney Tavern lawn (bring a lawn chair or blanket) or at Newman Hall (48 Old Depot Road) in case of rain.
The Chris Kleeman Band is “Vermont’s best-kept blues secret.” From Kleeman’s first record produced by B.B. King and his 2002 appearance with King at the Montreux Jazz Festival, Kleeman has kept the blues alive and well. While blues-based, his trio also incorporates high-powered instrumentals along with influences from many genres.
The concerts are free to the public (donations are accepted) and food will be available. For information visit www.twilightmusic.org or call (802)387-5772.
