WEST DOVER- Celebrate the Valley Inc. has announced the results of the third annual Taste of the Deerfield Valley, which was held on September 13, at the Sundance base lodge at Mount Snow Resort.

TC’s Family Restaurant was voted the “Best Taste.” TC’s served an array of entreés including lamb lollipops in a Jack Daniel’s marinade, salmon crostini with capers and cucumber dill sauce, and their New England clam chowder.

Honorable mentions went to 100 North for their tagliatelle bolognese, braised short rib, pappardelle pasta with Great Hill bleu cheese sauce and chocolate espresso, and Chopin at the Matterhorn for their apple-smoked filet mignon, smoked salmon, stuffed cabbage, pierogis, and mushroom soup.

“Most Creative Display” went to Chopin at the Matterhorn. A birch archway surrounded by an amazing display of mums, hay, and a running water fountain made up the display. Honorable mentions went to 100 North and TC’s Family Restaurant. A cocktail party will be hosted on Wednesday, October 15, at 6 pm at TC’s Family Restaurant at 178 Route 100, to present the awards. Snacks will be served and all are welcome to attend. This will be TC’s last night open as they will be closed for a month. The committee will also present a check to Kids in the Country Day Care, the beneficiaries of the event.
