To the Editor:

The Maynard and Crosier family, Harriet, Heather, Michelle, Paul, and Eli Peter, wish to thank everyone who sent condolences to our family after Pete, “Dad,” “Gramps,” passed away on June 10.

The cards, calls, and sustaining food are helping us through our grieving days.

We thank our family whose comforting words and presence will never be forgotten. Friends, colleagues, students, sportsmen, and those in between, we extend our sympathy as you miss Pete.

Your shared thoughts and memories of him over his short 74 years will be treasured.

Pete used to remark when something was great, it was “super” and we say this to you: Let us remember him for the quiet and caring man he was and not for the disease that ended his way of life on Castle Heights.
