NEWFANE- The Crowell Gallery is extending the photographic exhibit “Across the Pond” by David Parker through the month of March. The artist reception, held on February 3, drew an appreciative audience from all over New England.

Parker is a well known and respected educator recently retired from NewBrook Elementary School. The pond that is the focus of his photographs is a well known landmark on Grassy Brook Road, and the wildlife is familiar and intimate.

Parker will also be hosting an evening at the Crowell Thursday, March 29, at 7 pm and invites all who are interested in wildlife photography to visit with the artist to talk and share their own experiences.

Crowell Art Gallery is located at the Moore Free Library, 23 West Street. For more information call (802) 365-7948 or visit
