DORSET- Dorset Theater Festival presents “The Mousetrap,” Dame Agatha Christie’s masterpiece of mayhem and mystery, through August 30 at the Dorset Playhouse. “The Mousetrap,” in addition to being one of Christie’s most famous works, has the distinction of being the world’s longest continuously-running play. The production has been running since 1952 at London’s Ambassador Hotel.

Tickets for children 12 and under for “The Mousetrap” (and the entire 2014 season) are free, thanks to underwriting from the Bank of Bennington. Evening performances are at 8 Wednesday through Saturday and some Tuesdays; matinees are at 3 pm Wednesdays and Sundays and some Saturdays. Tickets and information are available at www.dorsettheatrefestival.org or by calling (802) 867- 2223.
