Donors sent kids to camp

To the Editor,

The Windham County Sheriff’s Department would like to thank the many local businesses and agencies for their contributions to this years Camp Leadership Challenge. There were 27 children ranging from ages 12-17 that successfully completed the one week camp at the Westminster Armory.

We would like to send out a special thank you to the Vermont Army National Guard, the Bellows Falls Rotary and the Kurn Hattin School for all they did to make this years camp a success.

We would also like to thank the following local businesses for their contributions to camp: Allen Brother’s, Westminster; Bruegger’s Bagels, Brattleboro; Hannafords, Brattleboro; MacLoamainns, Chester; Mr. G’s; North Walpole, NH; Price Chopper, Brattleboro; Reel to Real, Walpole, NH; Rent-A-Center, North Walpole, NH; Stop and Go, Brattleboro; Vermont County Store, Rockingham; Pizza Palace, Bellows Falls; The Final Cut, Bellows Falls; Pepsi, Brattleboro; and C&S, Brattleboro.
