DOVER- On August 15, 16, 17, Mountain Dulcimer players from across the country, from California and Oregon to Florida to Canada, will be gathering at the Mountaineer Inn for the 23rd annual “August Dulcimer Daze.”

The event, sponsored by George and Mary Haggerty of Folk Craft Music in Jacksonville, is one of the yearly national dulcimer gatherings and attracts players who are workshop teachers, students, and performers.

The Saturday night concert features traditional folk music with Lois Hornbostel, Ehukai Teves, Nina Zanetti, and Bill Collins starting at 7:30 pm at Memorial Hall Center of the Arts Cinema, at the Mountain Park Plaza.

Tickets, $15 for adults and seniors, and $10 for students through high school, are available the night of the performance or by calling the MHCA box office, (802) 464-8411, and leaving a message.

Patrons may also call The Mountaineer Inn at 802-464-5404. MHCA is located at 4 Mountain Park Plaza, off Route 100. The box office will open 45 minutes before the show. Visit memhall.org for information on this event and others that are happening at MHCA.
