Whitingham and Jacksonville Green Up Day was a great success! Thank you to all the volunteers who came out to green up and clean up our town and roads.

Thank you to Elaine’s Organic Farm Market for donating Johnny-jump-ups to hand out as thank yous to our volunteers; the Jacksonville General Store for donating fresh, hot doughnuts; the Whitingham Store for donating lunch; and the Whitingham/ Jacksonville Lions Club whose members, Hunter Beattie and Doug and Mary Lou LaPlante, helped to grill us a delicious lunch.

A special thanks also to Linda Metcalf who was up bright and early to bake us delicious homemade muffins.

Thanks to all for your contributions, you help to keep this town a wonderful place.
