State day golf tournaments returning

RUTLAND- The Vermont Golf Association will hold three, one-day tournaments during the week of May 11. Okemo Valley State Day will be held on Monday, May 11, Mt. Anthony on Wednesday, May 13, and Brattleboro Country Club will compete on Thursday, May 14. State Day formats are 18 holes, stroke play for low gross and net scores. The tournament is played in three flights determined by GHIN handicap (0-10, 11-16, and 17-36). Any amateur golfer with a current GHIN handicap (and GHIN card) is eligible to participate.

For Okemo Valley State Day, tee times and prepayment are required through the Vermont Golf Association, (800) 924-0418. For Mt. Anthony and Brattleboro Country Club State Days, tee times may be reserved by calling the club.
