Mount Snow Academy held its annual benefit event at the Mount Snow Ski Club on Saturday, March 1. On behalf of the staff, student athletes, and volunteers, I would like to thank all the people who pulled together to make for a great evening and a fundraising success. The Ski Club provided the space. Event chair Cathy Cunliffe and her team of volunteers planned, arranged, and made decorating magic.
There was fantastic food by Top of the Hill Grill, Sticky Fingers Bakery, and caterer Laurie Perotti. Mike Behringer, of the Dover Bar and Grill assured that beverages flowed smoothly. Live and lively music was provided by the Mike Cusato Band. Many, many individuals and businesses donated items for the live and silent auctions, and auctioneer Tom Gaglairdi volunteered his time to preside over the sale. The fun was provided by all the great people who came to support a great cause (scholarship opportunities to allow talented young athletes to train and compete) and enjoy a really hot party on a really cold night.
