MARLBORO- Meet international tracker George Leoniak, at the Hogback Mountain Conservation Area trailhead on Saturday, March 1, at 8:30 am, for an in-depth exploration of Vermont’s winter mammals. With over 15 years of professional tracking experience, Leoniak has led tracking workshops and certifications all over North America.

His personal interest in the Hogback Mountain Conservation Area will make this an especially interesting program. Dress for the weather and bring snowshoes as trackers will be off-trail for the majority of the walk. Attendees should anticipate a moderate hike which may not be appropriate for small children. Space is limited. Contact the museum to preregister at (802) 464 0048, or email vermontmuseum@gmail.com.

This program is free and made possible in part through the support of the Hogback Mountain Conservation Association and the Hogback Preservation Commission.
