BRATTLEBORO- The New England Youth Theatre Alumni Association is pleased to announce the fouth annual Shakespeare Unrehearsed fundraiser for NEYT’s “Angels in the Wings” scholarship fund. This year’s offering will be Shakespeare’s pastoral comedy “As You Like It.”

The play tells the story of Rosalind, a young beauty who flees from her treacherous uncle’s court with the help of her cousin Celia and their faithful jester. As they journey through the tranquil Forest of Arden, the trio stumble across strange philosophies, hidden strengths, and love. Inspired by the Elizabethan-era process of theatrical production, the alumni will be performing the show with no more than 10 hours of rehearsal.

Shows will be at 7 pm on January 4, and 2 pm on January 5. Tickets are only available at the door for a suggested donation of $10, payment by cash or check only. All proceeds will be donated to NEYT’s “Angels in the Wings” scholarship fund.
