To the Editor,

In an attempt to bring more business to downtown Wilmington, I suggested having a dog event. Little did I realize when I suggested it that it would be such a huge success. I gave Karyn Jones (also my daughter) the idea and with the help of Dianne Bolognani and Debbie Calnan they hit the road and put on one great show.

Many thanks to all the people who made it possible; Kit Cincotta and Keith Herbert for picking up and returning Sam who was on loan from the Pioneer Valley Kennel Club, the vendors, the booths, and the great volunteers. Next year will be bigger and better thanks to you. A special thanks to the worlds two best dogs at DoggiePalooza, Chris Richter and Roger Rohrs, they were great sports.

Thanks to Wilmington Works and the town of Wilmington for helping us sponsor this event.

Alice Richter
