WILMINGTON- Jeff Lee Boyd 56, a lifelong resident of Wilmington, died on Tuesday, September 10. Born in Bennington Hospital, February 15, 1957, he was the son of Lee Edward Boyd (died May 1996) and Eloise (Faulkner) Boyd, who survives. He is also survived by his brother Jody M. Boyd. Mr. Boyd had many physical problems, which with multiple surgeries throughout his life, he was able to overcome and live a normal life.

He graduated from Wilmington High School in 1976 and had already been employed for four years. He enjoyed working and loved spending time outdoors.

He was a former member of both the Wilmington Fire Department and Deerfield Valley Rescue.

He enjoyed hunting, shooting, and most especially black powder shooting. He was also involved in re-enacting. He participated in the French and Indian War, Revolutionary War, and Civil War reenactments in the United States and Canada. He participated with groups such as Rogers Rangers.

He was extremely interested in history and studied all aspects of American history.

Mr. Boyd had a great outlook on life and all will miss himdearly. Condolences can be sent to his brother, Jody M. Boyd, PO Box 532, Jacksonville, VT 05342.
