The top individual fundraiser was Michael Gilbert from Natick, MA, who raised a total of $2,100 and was awarded a Mount Snow season pass for the upcoming winter.
“I am so proud of everyone involved with the Tri for Hope, organizers and participants, because today we helped make a positive impact on someone’s life,” said Mount Snow general manager, and Tri for Hope participant, Kelly Pawlak. “It is always exciting for all of us here at the resort to help contribute to a great organization like the American Cancer Society.”
Competitors from all over New England, New York, and as far south as Pennsylvania participated in the event.
The local area was very well represented with many who call the Mount Snow area home finding their way to the podium, including Ryan Wadsworth and Tristan Grush going first-second, respectively, in the male age 18 and under division; Sam Wallace, second in male 19 to 29; Denise Anderson, second in female 40 plus; and Robert Case and Rob Wadsworth second and third, respectively, in male 40 to 49.
