Not surprised by VSEA action

To the Editor,

It does not surprise me one bit that the VSEA would fire their executive director and refuse to tell him exactly why. The Vermont State Employees Association or VSEA, is not a “union” it’s an employees association. Believe it or not this so called “union” agreed with the State of Vermont to never go an strike or walk off the job in protest. The state bureaucrats are laughing at them while they bully this non union association and the state employees it represents.

By firing their executive director without telling him why they demonstrated what they are capable of doing behind a person’s back. Mark Mitchell, the man fired, said it was ironic how the VSEA fired him without telling him why as they would forbid the state from doing this to a member.

This flaky and unexplainable behavior by this group of people who represent state workers demonstrates just how confused and eccentric they can be. Next, Mitchell will probably sue them. Is that how we want them to conduct the state’s business?
