To the Editor,

The idea of a food auction is not new, just new to Wilmington and the valley.

We are looking for home grown food and food products for sale. If you grow extra items or make a great jam or apple pie or maybe you started too many tomato plants and want to sell a tray or two, then we need to talk. We are accepting consignment items for our food auction May 25 at 5 pm in the Haynes Hall on Beaver Street, Wilmington. It’s a good way to market your wares as well as making some needed cash. Who knows, you might even have a little fun in the process. Contact Bob for details at office, (802) 464-9050 or cell, (802) 780-9002 .
