Born in Brooklyn, NY, February, 12 1919, Mr. Brumm served in the US Army from 1941 through 1945 as a radar repairman. Following World War II, he attended the University of Notre Dame on the GI Bill, graduating magna cum laude in 1951.
An avid athlete, he excelled at speed skating, bike racing, running, softball, skiing, and tennis. Also a talented artist, his paintings and carvings are cherished by family and friends.
A bachelor, Mr. Brumm was the last member of his immediate family and is survived by a loving niece and four nephews.
