Dover - The wide fairways, sprawling greens, and spectacular views of Mount Snow Golf Club will once again be enjoyed by golfers from near and far starting Friday, May 10, when the 18-hole championship course opens for the 2013 season.

Both the Pro Shop and Fairways Restaurant will be open daily and The Original Golf School begins its acclaimed multiday programs starting Saturday, May 18.

Under the direction of golf course superintendent Bryan White, the maintenance crew has been working diligently getting the course ready for opening. Projects include standard preseason maintenance like over seeding, topdressing, fertilizing and irrigation in addition to improvements like drainage work, new contours around greens and new pavement and sod around the pro shop.

Midweek rates for 18 holes with a cart start at $49 for adults and $39 for juniors and seniors. The weekend rate is $75 for all ages.

Mount Snow Golf Club was designed by renowned course architect Geoffrey Cornish, who thoughtfully matriculated all 18 holes through the hilly landscape. The championship tees stretch nearly 7,000 yards.
