To the Editor,

An open letter to the Deerfield Valley Lions and Rotary clubs:

I would like to express how excited our family was to see Santa this year on the Saturday before Christmas. He had a set of sweet angel twins who worked as a team. They loaded our front table with 6 tote bags full of food for our family. Thank you to everyone who helped with all those generous donations.

This year was considerably tough since Eagle Lumber (the place Aaron worked at for 18 years) burned down. These acts of kindness prove that this community is full of champions. We gobbled up the giant apples and grapefruit immediately. The wax-covered cheese from Hogback gift ship brought back memories of North River Winery, which was our first home. Thank you for the carrots; and the turkey from Twice Blessed was a gobbly good surprise.

May all the volunteers who spent months preparing for this tremendous act of kindness be blessed 100 times over.

From,

Aaron, Jenny, Adrien, Ezra, Ariel, and Genevieve Senecal
