To the Editor,

I write to thank you for approving Burr and Burton Academy’s tuition, thereby ensuring that Dover continues to be a partner with Burr and Burton in educating students from Dover. This year, we have 16 students making the trip to Burr and Burton Academy each day for their high school education. We fully expect this number to grow, and we are grateful to you as a town and to the Dover School in particular for bringing to us such motivated, talented, well-trained young people, all of whom are participating in and contributing to the life of our school.

I had the pleasure of attending the Dover Town Meeting again this year, and along with it being in an exquisite setting (the Dover Town Hall is clearly an architectural gem), I appreciated hearing the respectful dialogue and the many supportive comments of our school.

Once again, thank you very much for your support. I welcome any and all Dover residents to come for a visit and appreciate the opportunity to serve your town.

Sincerely yours,

Mark H. Tashjian
