The five comedies touch on the general subject of the “superiority of women.” Critics had a hard time figuring out the funniest. The first shows a young man preparing to seduce a woman, only to have the tables turned on him. The second involves a married couple who can’t figure out whose turn it is to commence lovemaking. The third opens on a girl’s apartment at 4 am when her fiance comes in to say he’s a nervous wreck and can’t go through with their wedding. The fourth takes place at an anniversary party and the scene is entirely played in the bathroom. In the last, a man and wife who have fought together for some 30-odd years, try to save their son’s marriage by confessions of their failings. The various roles range from the ages of 18 to 50. People who are interested in working on the production are encouraged to sign up at one of the auditions.
The performance dates include May 23, 24, 25, and 26.
