To the Editor,

We are writing today in support of two great candidates for the Wilmington selectboard: Becky Morris and Miller Longbotham. We feel that both of these candidates have a sincere and authentic desire to serve our community, a variety of experience to bring to the table, and most of all, the attitude of “yes.” Yes, Wilmington can be a stronger, more vital community. Yes, we can grow naturally while maintaining our small village identity. Yes, we can find creative solutions to stubborn challenges. Yes, we can make Wilmington more desirable for young adult residents. Yes, we can fulfill our potiential as a vibrant Vermont village.

We need a selectboard geared and motivated toward action. We need selectboard members with wide vision and the ability to work with the creativity of community members in a unified and positive way. We need strong leaders in service of the greater good. Becky Morris and Miller Longbotham are two great choices for the job.

Michele and Dale Doucette
