Library offers some spice for the winter blues

DOVER- Take a break from the winter blues and add a little spice to family time by joining the Dover Free Library at one or all of the free programs for kids and families during Winter Break Fun Week, February 18 to 22.

Pizza Party on Monday, February18, 5:30 pm. Whet those appetites for pizza and some good stories at the same time. Join in for pizza themed books and activities. Reservations are appreciated, but don’t be late for dinner…first come, first served.

Mad Science Radical Robots, Tuesday, February 19, at 6:30 pm. This “Mad Science” workshop is a hands-on science experience for the budding scientist. Explore the world of robotics with experiments and even a take-home science treasure, designed for participants ages 6 and up. Although the program is free, registration is required as space is limited.

Pajama Party Storytime on Wednesday, February. 20, at 10:30 am. Wear PJs and bring a favorite teddy bear to this story and craft time designed for children ages 3 to 9. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Milk and cookies provided.

Crafternoon on Wednesday, February 20, from 1 to 3 pm. Crafters ages 9 and up.

Family Movie Night: Peter Pan, Friday, February 22, 6:30 pm. Fly at the Dover Library, with a little pixie dust, of course. Disney’s re-release of “Peter Pan,” rated G, will be shown in the library’s community room on the big screen. Door prizes and popcorn provided! Come dressed as a favorite character.
