To the Editor:

As the owner of a dog, I love dogs but I also follow the rules.

I own and operate a business in the Mountain Park Plaza on Route 100 on the top floor. In recent months I have noticed the upper lot being used as an area for people letting their dogs out of their cars to do their business.

In the last month I have had numerous dogs do their business directly in front of our office walkway. When did the upper lot become a dog park and when did it become legal to let your dogs roam this parking lot and do their business?

I am tired of cleaning up messes from other people’s dogs. I do not bring my dog to your place of business and let him out at your door, and I ask that you do not do this at mine. I have employees and clients entering this building and do not need them to be stepping in your dog’s mess.

If you (Volvo station wagon) feel the need to let your dog out, then clean it up. I called to you and you raced away.

I hate to write this but it has happened many times this winter and I am tired of it.
