To the Editor:

On behalf of the Fellowship Group of the First Baptist Church of Readsboro, I want to thank everyone involved in our 50th annual Harvest Festival, which was held on September 29 and 30.

The festival was a great success thanks to the following: the volunteers who worked on the various tables; the individuals and merchants who donated items to be raffled or auctioned; the volunteers who helped with setup and cleanup; the people who prepared food for the luncheon, the bake sale and the ham and bean dinner; and those who sold quilt raffle tickets.

I want to thank Carol Reed for donating the beautiful commemorative quilt – 50 Maple Leaves, which was won by a young lady named Alex. I also want to thank Kristi and Ken Cooper for donating the Harvest Festival T-shirts. Thanks go to the Readsboro Hometown Redevelopment Commission for allowing us to use the Bullock Building, a great venue for this event. We are grateful to the musicians who provided entertainment throughout the day.

Last, but certainly not least, I want to thank everyone who attended the Harvest Festival. We are grateful for your support this year and in all the previous years. May God bless you all.

Yours truly,

Carol Marchegiani, chair
