The trustees will hold their annual book sale on Saturday, October 6, from 9 am to 4 pm, and Sunday, October 7, from 9 am to 2 pm.
There will be a free cooking demonstration series by House to House, a personal shef service. The first class, on Tuesday, October 16, will cover home knife/chopping skills. On Tuesday, October 23, from 6 to 7:30 pm, the class will cover sauces, salsas, and sides, plus pumpkin carving, (bring a pumpkin). Both classes will be interactive with audience participation. On Tuesday, October 30, from 6 to 7:30 pm, there will be a demonstration of “pulling together” a complete meal.
House to House personal chefs are Chris Whipple and Robin Stenner. Whipple is currently the executive chef at Nonna’s of West Dover and Stenner is formerly of the Wilmington Inn. Call the library at (802) 368-7506 to register.
