WILMINGTON- The riding group from Brookside Stables, under the leadership of Shelby Lawrence, hit high notes at the Cheshire Horse Show in Cheshire, NH, on August 26 and the Guilford Fair Horse Show on September 3. With a group of five to seven riders from the stable heading to each event, it has been a busy and fun summer.

Shelby Lawrence, on self-trained Pipe Dream, won the year-end high point champion for both the Green Horse Division and Open English Division at the Cheshire Show while Diane Chapman and Attaboy won year-end high point champion in the Adult Walk/Trot Division. At the Guilford Fair, Lawrence won high point champion again in the Green Horse Division, Kim Westby won reserve champion in the Morgan Horse Division, and Mallory Bauer won high point champion in the Western Youth Division. Brittany Lawley took a first place in Equitation in a very large class. For more information call Lawrence at (802) 380-2202.
