MARLBORO- On Saturday, September 15, the Southern Vermont Natural History Museum will bring the Vermont Wildlife Festival to Hogback Mountain at the former Skyline Restaurant. Festivities kick off with a 9 am guided walk with professor emeritus and local naturalist Robert Engel that will explore the south trails of the Hogback Mountain Conservation Area. Beginning at 10 am, the festival opens for a day of engaging presentations and live animals. Featured presentations include live birds of prey, a forest health scavenger hunt, wildlife presentations, forest activities, and a visit from a live arctic wolf. Kids activities and informal presentations will continue throughout the day.
