BRATTLEBORO- A new photo exhibit for the Vermont Center for Photography for September including photographers Medora Hebert, Robert Flynt, and Jesseca Ferguson, starts on Friday, September 7, from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. The even is set to end on September 30.

Heightened interest in books as an object of reverence has risen exponentially as technology threatens to make them obsolete. The work of three well-known photographers who use the book in some form will be explored at VCP. Ferguson produces intimate books using pinhole photography; Flynt uses illustrations from old books to create evocative figural images; and classic portraits of authors by Hebert will be featured in an exhibition that explores the book.

The exhibit is being held at the Vermont Center for Photography, 49 Flat Street. Gallery hours are Friday and Saturday from 1 to 6 pm and Sunday from 11 am to 3 pm. For more information contact Josh Farr at (802) 251-6051 or
