To the Editor:

The Deerfield Valley Community Cares Board members would like to thank all the people who purchased raffle tickets during the Village Stroll and at our Tunes ‘n’ Blooms Garden Party fundraiser at the home of Dr. and Mrs. R. Forte. Two winning tickets were drawn at the event, one for a garden-themed basket and a wine basket donated by Honora Winery.

We would like to thank Honora and all those businesses who donated so generously to our garden basket including John Thurber (bluebird house), Pickwells, Mount Snow and Haystack golf shops, Bartelby’s, Mountain Styles, CB Goldstein, Janet Boyd, Ellie Rodin, Nicki Steel, Mountainside Gallery, and Peace, Love, and Clothespins.

The money raised will be added to the DVCC fuel assistance fund.
