WHITINGHAM- The Deerfield Valley Sportsmen’s Club is hosting the annual Kids Hooked on Fishing Derby, on Saturday, June 9, Vermont’s free fishing day, at Lake Clara. Registration starts at 8:30 am and the derby runs from 9 to 11 am. Youth compete in four age categories up to 14-years-old for smallest, most, and biggest fish. All youth receive a goodie bag, hot dogs, and ice pops. Open to the public. For more information call (802) 368-7525.
