READSBORO- Readsboro stained glass artist Debora Coombs will host an ArtsMeet workshop on glass painting, on Sunday, November 20. The workshop is a benefit for Readsboro Arts, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation supporting the arts in Readsboro and surrounding communities.

Coombs will demonstrate this traditional technique and participants will have the opportunity to experiment with painting tiles of colored glass. Tiles will be kiln- fired and available to pick up at a later date.

All proceeds support future Readsboro Arts events and programming. ArtsMeet is a series of workshops and events for artists and non-artists alike. Hosted by local artists and craftspeople, these informal workshops provide a hands-on opportunity to learn about an art or craft and network with creative people. In addition to presenting the ArtsMeet workshops, Readsboro Arts hosts the annual Readsboro Arts Festival, a celebration of art, craft, and music.

The workshop will be held from 2 to 5 pm, at Coombs studio.
