WILMINGTON- The Valley Youth Sports fall soccer season will be getting underway with a jamboree/registration day on Saturday, August 27, from 10 to 11:30 am. Players will have a series of rotating games during registration. Participation that day is not mandatory while registration takes place.

This sign-up will be for teams for students in grades 3, 4, 5, and 6 who attend Wilmington, Deerfield Valley, and Whitingham. Students will play in combined teams. Practices will officially begin when school starts, with the first weekend of games being September 10.

Additional teams from Dover, Whitingham, Readsboro, Halifax and Marlboro should have their rosters in place and to Topper Van Backer, VYS Administrator by September 1 so the season schedule can be in place. Valley Youth Sports welcomes any and all players from kindergarten through sixth grade. Jessica’s Closet will have equipment available at the registration to help supply players with immediate needs.

Kindergarten through second-grade players will sign up at their schools when school starts and will have their weekly play every Saturday at 9 to 10 am at the Howe Farm fields, starting on September 10.
