Marine safety education program graduates

DEERFIELD VALLEY- The Deerfield Valley Sportsmen’s Club announced another successful education course completed on July 9. This time was the Marine Division of the Vermont State Police Boating Safety Education Program. This course is required for persons born after January 1, 1974, who are 10 years of age or older, and who plan to operate a motorboat on Vermont’s waterways. Successful completion entitles students to a certificate that is required by law to be carried when operating a motorboat. Instructors were Bill and Debbie Cox and Michael Linnehan. Students certified were Katelyn Littlefield; Dylan Saladino; Cameron Johnson; Troy, Tyffani, and Troy Felisko Sr.; Seth, Kerri, and Skyler Boyd; Jacob and Andy Rice; Garrett, Ethan, and Dwight Williams; William Moore; and Amber Cox.
