BRATTLEBORO- Three daring NEYT alumni will take on the bard’s classic, “Romeo and Juliet.” Nick Bombicino, Jessica Callahan, and James Gelter present a new adaptation of Shakespeare’s greatest love story.

Over the past few months this production has been on a local tour to schools, and has had appreciative audiences of all ages and walks of life.

When the cast of the Royal Canadian Shakespeare Company’s production of “Romeo and Juliet” fails to get through the US border, their assistant director, stage manager, and production assistant jump on the chance to perform the show themselves. Being a dedicated tech crew, that knows every cue and even every line by heart, they traipse through the unforgettable love story while falling into one of their own.

This show will be performed on the New England Youth Theatre stage. The actors, Bombicino, Callahan, and Gelter, are no strangers to the NEYT stage. Seven years ago, Callahan and Bombicino took on similar roles at NEYT’s old Main Street location during a 2003 production. Gelter is also an alumnus of the NEYT programs. All three are currently on staff at the Youth Theatre.

They will give only one performance, so don’t miss the chance to see this spectacular show – Saturday night, June 11, at 7 pm.

Tickets will be sold at the door and are $5 for students and $10 for adults. Reserve seats by emailing jcallahan.84@gmail.com or calling (802) 380-5090 with your name and the number of seats you are requesting.

Reserved seats will be held until 6:50 pm. If not claimed they will be released to the waitlist.
