WILMINGTON- Join Bartleby’s Books and Jeannine Bakriges at Handknits for a cozy afternoon of crafting and conversation on Wednesday, February 23, from 4:30 to 6 pm, at Handknits, located at 6 North Main Street (Bartleby’s former location).

Bakriges, a resident of nearby Whitingham, is a master fiber artist, skilled at both spinning and knitting. Her new book, “Spinning Around,” artfully illustrates ways to incorporate dyeing, spinning, and knitting for a holistic approach to working with wool and yarn. Included in the book are patterns by Elizabeth Zimmerman and Meg Swansen that are sure to inspire work of both utility and beauty.
