The west wing will host the Family First Night Dinner, “Appetites From Around the World,” featuring cuisine from all seven continents. Sumptuous stations will be set around the room for this bountiful buffet. The menu price includes tax and gratuity and reservations can be made by calling (800) STRATTON. Reservations are required. The prices for the New Year’s Eve Family First Night Dinner are adults, $64; kids under 12, $32; and five and under, $7.95.
The east wing comes alive with music, a magician, a balloon sculptor, face painting, crafts, and games. The family festivities are open to all and are complimentary. Double Diamond will also be open selling refreshments.
At 8:30 pm, the fireworks show and torchlight parade begin on the mountain. The torch light parade is sure to amaze and astound as the torch bearers shoosh their way down Sun Tanner. There will be a 21-jump salute presented by Stratton Freestyle. The best fireworks display of the year will follow the torch light parade.
After the fireworks, the 21- and-over crowd can continue to celebrate and revel in the sound of Brother Joscephus and the Love Revival Revolution Orchestra up in Grizzlys. Tickets to this adult party are $30 per person and can be purchased through (800) STRATTON. Hor d’oeuvres and a midnight champagne toast are included. Reservations are required to attend this event. Be sure to bring an ID. Doors open at 8:30 pm.
