To the Editor:

The Deerfield Valley Elementary School would like to thank the following local businesses. The offering of their facilities, time, and equipment will lead to a positive winter experience for all students. Deerfield Valley Elementary School is proud to recognize Steven O’Hearn from The Hermitage for offering his skating rink and skates, Mike Linnehan and Vermont Valley Tae Kwon Do for offering lessons at the Vermont Valley Tae Kwon Do center, Steve Butler of the North Star Bowl for offering bowling, and Mary Loveitt for offering her time to conduct Zumba classes. DVES is excited about the opportunities offered by the generosity of our local businesses. It would not have been a success without their help. The winter activities program runs for six weeks beginning January 7 and ending February 11.
