CVPS’s rate hike is outrageous. It’s a damn shame that at this time, the way our economy is going, and also this time of year, CVPS wants to raise the rates 8.3%. Look at our bill now. I, for one, live on Social Security only and I’m sure there is many folks in the same situation out there as I. With property taxes being the way they are (inflated), most of our income goes to that. What’s left of income has to go for food and etc., and CVPS wants to raise rates? This increase in no way should be granted to them. The regulators are no help to the little people. Check the utilities’ pockets.
If we the people don’t let the regulators and our polititians know that this rate is uncalled for, than they will continue to lead us, we the people to slaughter. Maybe if the suits (CEOs) receive less salary and perks and try to live like many of us, they might understand what I’m talking about, but that I doubt. I ask for you, the people to stand up for your rights and to contact our representatives, who work for us, and tell them not to grant this increase. People, wake-up and smell the coffee, should I say more?
