DEERFIELD VALLEY- The time for Valley Youth Soccer is quickly approaching. The upcoming season will feature Saturday clinics for grades K-2 from 9 to 10 am at the Howe Farm soccer fields. The grades 3-4 team practices will be midweek, with the games on Saturday starting at 11 am at the Howe Farm soccer fields. The grades 5-6 teams practice midweek with their games on Saturdays beginning at 9 am at the Deerfield Valley Elementary School field. This year’s season will be a week longer for grades 3 to 6 and some midweek games will be scheduled.

Coaches from Wilmington, Dover, Whitingham, Readsboro, Marlboro, and Halifax should be putting their age group teams together now, so they can be registered at the registration jamboree on August 25, from 9 to 10:30 am, at the Howe soccer field.

An in-depth clinic for coaches from all towns and age groups will be held before school starts. Information for Valley Youth Sports will be found on www.valleyyouthsports.org, and distributed in all pre-school information packets. Wilmington coaches are needed for grades K-2 and 3-4.
