To the Editor,

The Dover Free Library staff and trustees would like to thank the community members, volunteers and businesses for their support of the 2013 “Dig Into Reading” Summer Reading Program. In all, children up through 16 read more than 390 books and logged over 200 total hours of reading during this summer’s program.

Thanks to community volunteers like Colette Anton, Greg Edwards, and others, the library was able to offer 20 different program events which were co-sponsored by the Brattleboro Co-Op, Leader Distributing, Kids in the Country, Friends of the Dover Free Library, Vermont Department of Libraries, Boyd Farm, and James H.SweeneyInc.

Congratulations to the children, their parents and family members who supported and assisted their children during this successful summer reading program.

Tamara Hamm
